28.10. – 16.11.2014
Marcin Berdyszak’s art is rooted in the avant-garde of XX century. He uses its own tools in order to reveal an inadequacy of its achievements. Berdyszak’s art deals with subjects such condition of contemporary human being, cultural stereotypes, unification, consumption, valuation of reality, standarization of behaviours and feelings. In his installations, art objects and performances he critisizes a myth of originality and novelty of art. In few exhibitions planned for 2014 the artist aims to end using the bananas, which were kind of his trademark. This way he try to avoid a stereotyping of his own figure.
