Praca jest zainspirowana sytuacją, związaną z zarządzeniem o obowiązkowym noszeniu maseczek, i jest moim rozważaniem na temat tego, czym jest intymność. Trzy maseczki nawiązują do trzech interpretacji tego pojęcia:
1) Zmysłowość
Koncepcja ta wiąże się z tym, że nie trzeba widzieć, aby doświadczyć intymności. Jest to coś, przez co przechodzimy w naszych umysłach i sercach, jest to bardzo zmysłowe, a wzrok to zmysł najmniej potrzebny. Inspiracją jest zapora tworzona przez bobry i regulacja tego, co przechodzi.
2) Uwodzenie
Niektórzy ludzie pragną intymności, ale tylko tej fizycznej. Mówią, że są bardziej nadzy w intymności umysłowej niż fizycznej – w fizycznym obnażaniu nie widzą braku intymności. Do stworzenia tej maseczki zainspirowały mnie żeńskie organy rozrodcze i kobiecy sposób uwodzenia.
3) Toksyczność
Intymność może być toksyczna, może być niezdrowa i nie dawać drugiej osobie wystarczającej przestrzeni. Może być jak bluszcz – trudny do wyplenienia.

Title: Intimacy
Technique: photography of three masks, wires and threads, digital drawing
According to the (covid) regulation in my country to wear a mask outside the house, I started to work with intimacy and the idea for see-through, drawing-like masks. For me, there are three different aspects of intimacy:
1) Sensuality
The concept of this one is connected to the fact that one doesn’t need to see in order to experience intimacy. It is something we are going through in our minds and hearts, it is highly sensual and eyesight is the least needed sense. he inspiration is from a beaver dam and the regulation of what‘s coming through.
2) Seduction
Some people crave intimacy, but only the physical one. They say they are more naked in mental intimacy than in the physical one. People are offering their bodies to get this intimacy, but there is nothing intimate about it. I got inspired by female reproductive organs and the way women seduce.
3) Toxicity
Intimacy can be toxic, it is not healthy and it stops you from moving on. I got inspired by plant ivy, toxic and hard to get rid of.
