POWRÓT DO STRONY GŁÓWNEJ

Title: Dissonance

Technique: installation, steel reinforcement bars, acrylic tape, paint, thin sheet, 4 m x 1,75 m x 2 m, 29,7 cm x 42 cm, video (loop) 59”

What form should a concept that is understood differently by everyone take?

How to present the border as a universal sign?

How to show its multidimensionality?

It is not important what kind of borders are they: territorial, virtual, identity, mental, legal, given to us by others or those we impose on ourselves.

I am interested in the notion of a border as a barrier, which marks protective areas, areas of refuge.

The installation entitled Dissonance is a vault, a bond, an openwork, a location in the space of elusive planes. Is it only an illusory hiding place, a real asylum, or the opposite of it?
